Center - This multidisciplinary NIMH funded University of Virginia Research
Center is directed by Dr. Jeanne C. Fox, PhD., FN FAAN. The Centers major research
focus is the explication and evaluation of mental health delivery to rural impoverished
minorities in the southeast. The Center studies formal treatment systems (examining rural
mental health treatment needs and resources) and informal treatment systems (examining
